CETILIA FOUNDER: JORDYN SOTELO

Jordyn Sotelo is the founder of Cetilia, a name drawn from the Nahuatl cetilia: to make one thing into many, or to unite through friendship. Before starting Cetilia, Jordyn spent her career in hospitality. She became a Certified Sommelier and worked with some of Chicago’s most iconic restaurants, including Charlie Trotter’s, Grace, and MK. There she learned firsthand how a single detail, such as a pairing, a plate, or a first impression, can shape an entire experience. That idea is the foundation of Cetilia: one shoot, told well, can give a business everything it needs to show up in the world. Every client relationship also starts with what hospitality taught her matters most, which is real trust. Today Cetilia works with food and hospitality brands as well as lifestyle and service businesses, helping each one find the story worth telling and carry it through every frame.
